Aywa (ancient Germanic for ‚eternity‘) entices you to dream and dance through playful melodies and heartfelt rhythms.
It was originally conceived as a street music project.
However, when the three musicians sat in an Emmental meadow playing music in the summer of 2012 they concluded: Why not start a band?
Now they let themselves be guided by their melodies…
which seem to come from a far off place, while at the same time fitting in perfectly with the here and now.
Adaya: irish bouzouki, flute, vocals, harp and bodhran
Frederik: djembé and various percussion
